Showgirl Competition and Rural Achiever Award

Cumnock Show Society will be conducting a Showgirl competition and Rural Achiever Award in 2020.
Chloe McCarthy attended Cumnock Public School, Yeoval and Molong Central for high school. Chloe is an exceptional golf player.
Chloe has travelled throughout NSW playing golf.
Since leaving school Chloe has made her home in Parkes, working for Campbell Arnotts and Aldi, as well as being a Body Shop representative.
Chloe enjoys helping out at the Cumnock Show with the coffee stand, travelling, and spending time with her animals, family and friends.
SHOWGIRL
The Showgirl competition aims to find a young woman to act as an ambassador for the Cumnock Show Society.
The Cumnock showgirl must have genuine interest in their community, including knowledge of rural and regional NSW.
Entrants must be aged 18-24 years as at 1st May 2020. (This is a year later as our show is too late for the Regional judging competition held in February each year. Therefore the Cumnock Showgirl 2020 will go to Regional Showgirl 2021)
Entrants must live, be educated, or work within NSW for at least 3 mths prior to their local Showgirl Competition.
The contestants are judged on personality, confidence, ambition, goals, general and rural knowledge, presentation and speech.
All Cumnock contestants will receive a $100 megapack and the winner will receive the MAJOR prize! Winner will also receive a 2-day Personal Development Workshop either in Nov or Feb in Dubbo (accommodation included).

RURAL ACHIEVER AWARD
The RAS Rural Achiever Award is a state-wide leadership program run by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW to recognise
future young leaders who are working hard to make a significant contribution to their local community and to rural Australia.
The program has so much potential to grow and further foster young leaders in agriculture.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must be aged between 20 and 29 years of age and be permanent residents of Australia,
residing in NSW.
All applicants must be available to attend a face-to-face interview in November 2019. The Rural Achiever selection panel will
meet at three regional locations and successful applicants will be advised in October 2019 if they are required to attend.
The 8 successful Award recipients must be available for a 9 day program at the 2020 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
